Money’s Role in Saving Souls

“Mission Impossible” By: Jill Lepore, August 2, 2021

A Facebook Paradox

The power to share and like

My relatives are signed up

Psych

Company with millions of dollars

Now on facebook’s leash

We may as well wear collars

Integrity of an election

Hillary Clinton in a coma

Terms and Conditions doesn’t include this section

Fake news

Baby photos

And other feeds

Still equals money for Zuckerberg that counts as good deeds

The mission to make the world open and connect

Ethics and morals never intersect

After the war

Salvation for humanity

Only caused the world more

Insanity

Mission means send

Facebook's regime will never end

Mission accomplished means ending the war

Vietnam, World War 2 and more

But executives don’t run missions

Its only about commissions

The truth lies in the investment

The business is dubious

But they're not under assessment

A thumbs up for 15,000 employees

Every picture tells a story

But no one captures the data thats hidden

Exposed by facts that aren’t written

Stating privacy is protected

Morality is not elected

Company over country they say

But the mantra doesn’t last a day

Number of users exceeds the population of China and India combined

But does anyone know the contract they signed

Leaking their data and privacy breached

An ultimatum has to be reached

Yielding deceit

A long mission statement becomes integrity’s

replacement

The ugly truth

A crisis in Myanmar

Only dooming the youth

Facebook plays a role in Genocide

The U.N. confirmed the effects, but the truth will hide

You’re getting the news

Online and facts you may refuse

But know that it is a domination

A monopoly that doesn’t need accommodation

He claims we need to do better

But I write this as an apology letter

I fed the beast

Stopping my participation is what I can do in the least
